European Conference on Cognitive Ergonomics 2010

eye.jpgOn the 24th of August, Michel Varkevisser and Martijn Mooij presented a position paper at the EYE TRACKING = READING THE MIND Workshop, which was held as part of the European Conference on Cognitive Ergonomics 2010. The main theme of the workshop was to see how the use of eye tracking data can be taken beyond the purpose of areas of interest. The specific area of interest for the D-CIS Lab is to see how eye tracking technology can be used as an active input device for adaptive interfaces. The workshop provided a lot of fruitful discussion and as an outcome the D-CIS lab now has close working links with other organisations who use eye tracking technology in their research.
