On November 15, 2011, the DIADEM consortium organized the final DIADEM demonstration and Transfer Advisory Council (TAC) event.  The event was attended by 19 distinguished TAC delegates from Austria, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Israel, Norway and The Netherlands.

The event consisted of a live demonstration of the integrated DIADEM system followed by a technical discussion with the TAC delegates. The demonstration was based on a synthetic use case derived from the real world use cases provided by the user partners DCMR Milieudienst Rijnmond and the Danish Emergency Management Agency. The demonstrations were followed by a technical workshop, where the DIADEM partners explained to the TAC delegates technical aspects of various DIADEM components. Each component was discussed in a sequence and evaluated by the TAC via a survey.

The event was concluded with a discussion on the exploitation and collaboration opportunities after the DIADEM project is concluded. Concrete plans were made for the use of various DIADEM results in ongoing European projects (e.g. FP7 Bridge) and proposals.  In addition, early in 2012, special workshops with influential users will be organized to investigate the use of the DIADEM components in new real world contexts.
