- 2006-present: Senior researcher and program manager at Thales Research and Technology, D-CIS lab, Delft, the Netherlands.
- 2003-2006: Postdoctoral researcher at the University of Amsterdam; research on advanced distributed information fusion techniques. 
- 2001-2003: Lead Verification Engineer at Brightline Avionics Gmbh; development and testing of airborne software.
- 1996-2001: Researcher/assistant at Graz University of Technology, Austria; research on the navigation of autonomous mobile robots.

Interests
- Sound processing techniques and architectures for distributed information fusion and collaborative reasoning with humans in the loop.
- Algorithms and modeling techniques supporting robust decentralized Bayesian information fusion.
- Self organizing modular information fusion systems.
- Techniques for efficient implementation of complex service oriented processing systems.

Additional information
- Research on advanced approaches to Bayesian fusion is carried out in close collaboration with the Intelligent Autonomous Systems group at the University of Amsterdam. In this context I have been supervising PhD and masters students.
